Most compression tops are sized-down cotton blends. The Alx Arc is a proprietary 4-way nylon-spandex weave with seam architecture borrowed from competition powerlifting singlets — designed to grip without restricting, and survive under load.
Heavier than a tee, lighter than a base layer. Holds shape under bar contact.
Moves with overhead press, squat depth, and ground-to-rack pulls without binding.
Vs. cotton — measured at 80% RH, peak hypertrophy session, in lab conditions.
Compression retention >92% after 100 industrial wash cycles. Pilling: none.
