The Fallback
Things don’t always work out smoothly. There are plenty of you out there who have had setbacks in your transformation journeys. Everything doesn’t have to work at the first go. You get an injury, you can get severely ill or there’s a pandemic that hits which can hold you back for a long enough period of time that you start seeing your physique deteriorating. All that you worked for starts going away and you begin to hate the situation because there’s nothing that you can do. We do accept in life that everything can’t be in our hands but the problem is that saying this and actually believing this are two different things. You never know the pain or discomfort of watching yourself in that position till you’re actually in that place.
But you need not to give up. Let the setback take place, let it put you back a couple of steps. Always remember that if you made it once you are capable of making it again. You will get back and that time you will be stronger. You’ll know exactly what you’re gonna have to do and so it’ll be faster than the first time. Give yourself the time. Deal with that time with patience not frustration.
Life is a big bucket of uncertainties. So, don’t worry if your plans go a little haywire sometimes. Don’t let it break your spirit and you will bounce back. Keep your achievements in mind and remember that you have to go beyond that.
Don’t rush yourself into it. Give yourself some time to recoil and to heal. Give yourself that assurance that it is okay and that you will get back on your journey. A step back is not always an end, it’s just a transition to a new beginning!
